Puppy's Corner

Little Boy Puppy isn't very old yet, but he sure has a lot of stuff already! We drove an hour to the nearest PetSmart the day he was born and started stocking up for his arrival. We have basically everything we need except food and treats, which will be interesting since they have no good treats in this area. But as you can see, his favorite color has been predetermined for him: blue. And he is some stuffingless toys that will hopefully last awhile. We'll add more to his toy box later, but I think this is a good start, especially since the puppy will probably chew up everything anyway. Lots of tennis balls for him to fetch, although they might be a bit too big for him and first. We have some cheap-o towels for him, too, since we didn't want to buy expensive blankets that he will most certainly decide tastes yummier than his puppy food. And don't forget the chewy nylabones so he has something to chew on! The blue leash is a 6 foot leash for walks, the yellow nylon is a 50 foot training leash that we can also use at the parks and on base so he can have a little more room to roam while still being leash-legal. And it's great for practicing recall! All these dog supplies are making us very anxious and impatient to get him, but at least we'll be ready! I only wish he knew how loved he already is!
