Checklist

So I updated my blog yesterday with a checklist. Apparently I was very productive last night and today because I have already completed some of my list! Completed projects:

-Bought and finished within 24 hours a Thomas Kinkade 1000 piece puzzle. I probably should have bought more than one. Believe it or not, there are strategies to making puzzles. And it's a great excuse to use to stream an entire season of The Office.

-Planted more of my plants today! Got some purple flowers in my purple pot, then planted basil, chives, and rosemary in separate pots. I have two more pots so I might have to get more flowers. It's getting too late in the season for herbs, but I might try to get more basil. If not, I'll get some houseplants.

-Had Cari, Ryan, and little Spud over for dinner! It was fun, we played Castle Crashers afterwards. Yay!

-Bryan is coming over tonight to help finish off the mac and cheese from last night. Yay for friends!

I haven't been this productive in a long time! I think I'm going to wait until the first to tackle the other projects so we can at least keep some money in the bank. To keep decorating the house, I might buy a large black, white, or red piece of artwork for the bedroom, but we'll see if I can find something in that color scheme down here. If not, I guess I'll make my own "artwork" (i.e. marbles on canvas or fun squiggles). It'll be fun, at least.
