My mom came for a much deserved visit this past weekend. It was so nice having someone to hang out with and share some good 'ol quality mommy daughter time. One of the things we did was to take my flower pots out of hibernation and have a shopping spree at the Home Depot gardening center.
This pot as has snap dragons and is hiding a calla lily bulb
Daffodils, snap dragons, and a hiding calla lily :)
Hyacinth, daffodil, and some tulips
A purple plant that I don't remember the name but in California they can get huge.
I love purple :)
Pot in the front yard with a pink tulip, hyacinth, and leftover flowers from the winter
Can't decide if this is a good picture or not
I keep forgetting to take the Christmas sign out
Matt and I went back to Home Depot a few days later to pick out some veggies and herbs together. I have no idea if the veggies will grow or not, but it's a good project and should keep me busy. I have found a lot of tips on pinterest to peruse.
Cilantro, thyme, and Italian parsley with Matt's Cappucino Stout by Lagunitas. If you have never experienced the awesomeness of the store BevMo, you really should :)
A tomato plant! This is the Bonnie Bell, the big tomatoes. I have another pot of cherry tomatoes
Two kinds of peppers. I bought a salsa pepper and a yellow bell pepper
Strawberries and a rosemary plant in the center! I was so mad I couldn't find strawberry pots ANYWHERE
A line of plants :)
