Funny, I had yesterday off and still didn't manage to write the weekly update. Whatevs, here it is now.
I love my dog because:
He tires out so quickly now! Even with all that puppy energy. I blame this horrible Southern heat. :)
I love my cat because:
I had Jack's buddy Kaida over yesterday and Huey entertained them for me. Mostly they were just harassing him, but still.
Cupcake Flavor of the Week:
We made angel food strawberry shortcake cupcakes! Everyone loved them! Now I just have to figure out what I'll be making this week, since Nicole just left for the week.
Current Read:
Wicked! Loved the Broadway show (thanks youtube!), but I haven't read the book yet. So far it's quite good, but a little slow. There's a lot going on.
Starbucks Flavor of the Week:
None! Nicole gave us some Gevalia (mocha and dark chocolate truffle). I'm loving it!

One of these days I will start blogging about other stuff than just weekly updates. But I'm too busy right now :)
(FINALLY! I figured out how to make paragraphs with this new blog layout stuff. I have absolutely no doubt that as soon as I actually figure this stuff all out they'll change it again. Oh well at least it gives me something (productive?) to do).
Wicked starts "slow" because there is a ton of information and back story that needs to be absorbed in order for the present to make any sense.
ReplyDeleteYou should make a "weird" cupcake. Hmmm... maybe one with alcohol like what they do on Cupcake Wars? I think they tend to use bourbon to amp up the flavor.
